UX Researcher

Join Unit4 as a Mid-Level User Researcher, focusing on understanding user needs and driving product improvements in a cloud ERP software environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan & Execute Research: Design and conduct user research studies (e.g., usability testing, user interviews, surveys) to gather insights
• Identify User Needs: Uncover user behaviors, motivations, pain points, and unmet needs to inform product strategy and design decisions
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Product Leads, Product Designers, Engineers, and Data Analysts
• Analyse & Synthesise Data: Analyze research data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Communicate Findings: Present research insights to stakeholders
• Champion the User: Advocate for user needs throughout the organization
• Contribute to Research Operations: Develop and refine research processes and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's or MSc degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated User Researcher role, ideally within a product-focused environment
• Proven experience with qualitative research methods (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, field studies)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with user research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Miro, Figma)
• Experience with quantitative research methods (e.g., surveys with statistical analysis) or working closely with data scientists (Nice to Have)
• Experience in SaaS, B2B software (Nice to Have)
• Basic understanding of UX design principles (Nice to Have)
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and inclusive design practices (Nice to Have)
