UI/UX Designer – AI Prototyping (UltraLab)

UI/UX Designer needed to create dynamic, interactive prototypes for the AI Prototyping team at Turing, an AI company focused on building real-world AI systems.

Responsibilities

Design and build high-fidelity interactive prototypes
Translate design concepts and wireframes into functioning UI
Study existing user journeys and propose AI-enhanced alternatives
Collaborate with PMs and developers to shape user flows and ensure smooth handoffs
Support usability testing and feedback loops
Create and reuse design patterns to ensure consistency
Help define, evolve, and apply the UltraLab brand identity
Explore and integrate emerging tools and AI-assisted design workflows
Ensure prototypes are intuitive, accessible, and responsive
Participate in cross-functional brainstorms, design critiques, and strategy sessions

Requirements

Strong portfolio demonstrating interactive prototypes
Experience working across unfamiliar domains
Foundation in user research, journey mapping, and product thinking
Deep expertise with Figma for formal design work
Visual design skills with a strong point of view on brand systems
Understanding of accessibility best practices, responsive design, and usability principles
Builder’s mindset with a focus on rapid iteration based on feedback
Bonus: Exposure to AI/ML concepts or experience designing AI-powered features
