Creator Team Product Designer

Join VRChat in shaping the creator experience, focusing on tools, workflows, and interfaces for a global ecosystem of artists and developers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design lead, PMs, and engineers to improve creator workflows
• Design intuitive interfaces for creators with varying technical expertise
• Translate technical concepts into approachable UX
• Pair with community and support teams to understand creator pain points
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups across platforms, focusing on accessibility and responsiveness
• Collaborate with design systems team for consistency across creator experience
• Contribute to early discovery and testing of new tools
• Stay close to user needs, technical topics, and community dynamics

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional product design experience
• Experience with tools, platforms, or creator workflow-heavy products
• Comfortable working in Figma and collaborating with engineering
• Understanding of trust, safety, or moderation systems (bonus)
• Familiarity with social VR, presence-based UX, or designing for avatar-based expression (bonus)
• Experience working on cross-platform design (desktop, mobile, VR headsets) (bonus)
• Passion for online communities, emergent social behavior, or the sociology of digital spaces (bonus)
