Principal UX Designer

Minted is seeking a Principal UX Designer to define and build a premium shopping experience, focusing on e-commerce platforms across web and mobile.

Responsibilities

• Define overall UX vision and strategy, aligning it with business goals
• Champion a user-centered approach, using research and empathy for customer and artist needs
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency and stakeholder alignment
• Lead concepting and prototyping for new features, focusing on mobile-first principles and core funnel optimization
• Design and facilitate workshops for cross-functional teams
• Mentor designers and partners, fostering their growth in design thinking
• Prioritize design work based on user needs and establish systems to communicate those needs

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant UX experience
• Proven experience designing for e-commerce platforms
• Proficient with design and collaboration tools (Figma, user testing, Confluence, Google Suite)
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Expertise in user-centric design, research methodologies, interaction/visual design
• Experience as a mentor in design thinking and user-centered design
• Balanced ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to dynamic environments
