Graphic Designer (Project-Based)

BuzzFeed Studios is seeking a part-time freelance Graphic Designer in Los Angeles to create high-quality design assets for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with creative teams to develop original designs
• Create key art, marketing materials, and deck designs
• Generate motion graphics and title design elements
• Work with post coordinators to set timelines and expectations
• Maintain project organization and graphic standards
• Participate in pre-production consultations
• Organize and maintain SOPs across departments
• Build templates and mogrts for multiple projects
• Identify problems and pose creative solutions
• Handle feedback and graphic changes effectively

Requirements

• 2+ years of design experience
• Link to a portfolio or reel of recent work
• Strong communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3rd party software
• Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables
