The Lead Design Researcher at Xero will lead impactful research programs, connect with stakeholders, and shape strategies grounded in customer insights.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research
  • Design and conduct effective interviews
  • Analyze data and interpret findings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Craft concise presentations and deliver recommendations
  • Lead initiatives to improve the research practice

Requirements

  • Degree or training in a Design Research course
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating high-quality communication of insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design principles
  • Proven experience coaching and mentoring design teams
  • Ideally, experience working in a fast-paced, agile product environment
