The Brand Design Lead will lead a team of designers at AngelList, shaping the brand identity and executing marketing strategies, while also managing and mentoring the team.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate the team strategy and career growth of our exceptional IC designers and design technologists
- Develop and refine design processes, set impactful quarterly team goals
- Refine the AngelList brand's visual identity and explore sub-brands
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to establish AngelList as a leading brand
- Bring expertise in technical environments, understanding web and mobile client-side development processes
- Partner with leadership to build a healthy and collaborative work and Design culture
Requirements
- At least 8–10 years of experience in Brand Design
- 2 or more years of management experience, ideally within a fast-growing SaaS company
- Proven ability to deliver impactful, beautiful brand designs
- Skilled in improving team efficiency by refining processes and workflows
- Strong understanding of product development processes and the ability to address product challenges across various platforms
