Senior UI/UX Designer

CGS seeks a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead UX design efforts for a large Federal agency, focusing on research-driven solutions and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scale UX design efforts
• Manage the planning, design, and implementation of multiple sites and applications
• Lead user research and analysis
• Collaborate with federal engineers and clients to define, design, and implement solutions
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and site maps
• Create scalable design resources

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Strong UX design experience
• 10+ years of combined professional design experience
• Strong online portfolio
• Results-oriented problem solver
• Expertise in user research methodologies
• Advanced understanding of user personas and flows
• Experience evaluating existing systems
• Experience with 508 and USWDS standards
• Experience prioritizing features
• Experience carrying designs from wireframes to final mockups
• Experience with rapid customer feedback loops
• Self-starter, motivated, confident
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe xD, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
