Senior User Researcher

At Netcompany, you'll build user-centred practices, conduct user research, and supervise other user researchers to inform service propositions and deliver accessible services that work for all users.

Responsibilities

• Build user-centred practices in new teams
• Align user research activities with wider plans to inform a service proposition
• Carry out user research and supervise and develop other user researchers to assure and improve research practice
• Help teams understand the diversity of users and advocate for inclusive practices
• Help teams design and deliver accessible services that work for all users
• Adopt a wide range of primary and secondary user research methods
• Apply a range of methods to analyse research data and synthesise findings
• Engage sceptical colleagues in analysis and synthesis
• Advise on choice and application of techniques, and critique colleagues’ findings to assure best practice
• Draw out key findings and implications, summarising and tailoring for different audiences
• Understand the social and technological context of projects
• Align user research activities to inform decision making and action
• Know about the technologies used to build and operate digital services
• Help inexperienced teams adopt user-centred practices and embed them into their agile workflow

Requirements

• 4 years plus User Research experience
• Have experience working to the GDS design principals or equivalent standards in the UK Public sector
• Full right to work in the UK
• Eligible for Security Clearance
• Work to a Hybrid working model
