Federated Service Solutions is hiring a Design Engineer to lead predictive site surveys, develop wireless designs, and ensure technical quality in deployments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Predictive Site Surveys to ensure wireless and network designs are positioned for project success
- Develop and maintain wireless heat mapping reports that validate coverage, identify performance gaps, and guide infrastructure placement
- Design audio and paging systems that align with client needs, site acoustics, and technology standards
- Provide CAD markups and documentation that translate conceptual designs into precise field execution guidance
- Define and uphold configuration standards for networks and security systems to ensure quality and consistency across deployments
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with wireless design tools like Ekahau or similar
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or related CAD platforms
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN infrastructure and security design principles
- Strong problem-solving instincts and a proactive mindset
- Clear communication style, both verbal and written
- Ability to own outcomes, follow through, and work collaboratively with field and project teams
Key Skills
